Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but he was a colossal failure. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he very much looks the part of a Carter. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Tim will drive conversation. The war was a terrible time for him, and Tim does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Painter again; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.
