History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Kody was born with his father's beautiful face. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: This light-skinned male wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a pickaxe on his belt. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to brigands.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and many brigands want him driven away
