He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears suspenders and white workpants. His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'3" and prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor. He has no hair. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shoemaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shoemaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a shoemaker and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
