To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. Jocelyn enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by drow. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roland is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
