Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Randal will drive conversation. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of giants

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
