Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a black costume with the symbols of death on his torso. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A freak accident while working with his Slave Trader mother left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: He wears baggy tan pantaloons and a black scarf. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Charles was born the youngest of three triplets. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break

Description: He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly bastard swords and spears. He wears his brown hair up. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cory. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Description: This light-skinned male wears long strands of emerald and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His silver hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are green.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His blue eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has money and likes to spend it
