Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: An older man who likes to wear violet tank tops with grey pants, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is red and curly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. One day when Jocelyn was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Jocelyn was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to be a layabout again

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He prefers to wear brown clothing when he does not wear armor. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Diggory hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Diggory was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and further expansion of business
