History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Patrick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spy for the past few years.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
