History: He got into the Merchant business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Hunter, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Gerald was a troubled youth. Gerald decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
