History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: The child of a Knight, who enjoyed hunting, Lance was taken on many hunting expeditions. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Charles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Chad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and an old rival family wants him found
