After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ralf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Gilbert took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and balancing his hectic life and new roofer responsibilities is difficult
