The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. After coming to the age of reason, Godfrey took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is greedy

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
