History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against orcs

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Lewis was born with his father's beautiful face. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Alex was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bricklayer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bricklayer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to reunite with his old friends
