History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This younger middle-aged man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep red leather and dull white iron scale mail, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Rolf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Baker, and he later adopted a second daughter.
