Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has a very tight haircut. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his son

Description: This late middle aged man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes. and is in decent physical shape. He has wavy silver hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Mason. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in the south. His childhood dream was to be a Herbalist, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Motivation: Expand his business.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He wears a colorful flower in his brown hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

Description: This malnourished man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he desires power and/or immortality
