He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: Standing 5'6", this man is typically in his Bookbinder uniform. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His childhood dream was to be a Body Guard, but he was a colossal failure. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Sage again.
