History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Don was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Don's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Don was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
