History: Gifted from a young age, Roland studied abroad. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
