History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Miles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
