History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to share knowledge with the world
