Godfrey Winchester, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a worn and beaten armor. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Godfrey is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Godfrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Godfrey was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
