History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by giants. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Roger was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Navigator. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. A true patriot, William would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. William was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. William decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
