However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bernard will drive conversation. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he has a crush on the local layabout

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is cut close to his head. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson tan hat.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and doesn't want to be a stylist and was forced into it by his family

Description: This late middle aged man wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat and is in decent physical shape. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is afraid of men and trembles around them

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is content; and he seems to be bored by most things
