Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and seeks redemption

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing grey cape and mantle trimmed with soft pastel waves gently in the breeze. His golden hair is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Carpenter profession.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and balancing his hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult

Description: He prefers to wear flannel. He carries with him a set of shortspears on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. His hair is black and curly. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Shane will drive conversation. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shane grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shane. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He was born into a rich family. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
