History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After a long history of fighting, Balimaar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
