History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his father's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
