History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and a rival would like him out of the picture
