His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: Thomas is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Thomas hails from a village terrorized by giants. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants revenge against giants
