Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hugh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Hugh was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: 5'9" and muscular, this southern man wears baggy brown pantaloons and a white scarf. His white hair is singed and shortened. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He is typically in his Knight uniform. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His white hair is thinning but still full. His ears are large.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Doctor again.

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his spear, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His white hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
