History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Adam liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. A true patriot, Ernest would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A freak accident while working with his Soapmaker father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants his loneliness to end
