History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His first spouse was a Jeweler, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
