History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Shipwright father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He keeps his golden hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
