Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the right. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: An older man who prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, he is not a threatening figure. His auburn hair is still thick. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants revenge against orcs

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a blue feathered hat and blue clothes. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and to be a mayor again
