History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Heward was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
