Upon awakening, Adam discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Adam fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Tim's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hugh grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hugh. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Alexandre's homeland. Alexandre decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
