Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Gilbert took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Raymond alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Raymond was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
