Personality: Hugh wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Motivation: To be a Soapmaker again; and sabotage a competitor

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
