One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He struck the Interpreter job and began his own company from there.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'0". He wears a brown costume with the symbols of strength on his torso, and his gloved hand is found clutching a glaive. He has moderate length white hair. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Born in the north to a Fisher, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
