History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Hubert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Hubert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hubert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Jocelyn was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
