History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
