Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Gerard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cartwright.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
