History: Shane was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
