History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Shane's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Shane was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Glassblower. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 3 years.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Don grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Don. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.
