History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He carries with him a set of axes on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Richard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Richard was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He became a Doctor soon after.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
