Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, and he perpetually has his quarterstaff ready. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the left. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ernest embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: He is typically in his Map Maker uniform. He is portly but not overly obese. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He's also a talented Junk Dealer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by his family.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has gray eyes and a grey hat with a tan feather.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theodoric was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his violet robe. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He uses divination through singing.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has wavy blonde hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
