History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cartwright. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Alexandre was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
