History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
