History: Henry lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Randal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Patrick was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Performer. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
