Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Charles's homeland. Charles decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Balimaar was born with his father's beautiful face. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: 5'4" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he has decided he is irredeemable
