History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: Thomas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He married young, but lost his spouse to drow. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
